Under them, inside the suit, sits removable CE Level 2 armor rated to EN 1621-1:2012. So the shoulders and knees have two layers of protection. The elbows have TPU sliders. The knee sliders attach with Velcro and can be replaced.

Kangaroo leather is thinner and lighter than cowhide for its strength. Monaco is another option some riders choose for feel. For heat, many riders pick full perforation. Small holes in the leather let air reach your body. You can also perforate only the chest or the front. A ventilated hump lets air flow out at the back. A hydro hump has room for a drink system. You can also leave the hump off. For cool days, add the thermal removable lining.
