Buying Guidance
How do I choose a size? Measure at home and compare with the Size Guide. If you fall between sizes, pick Custom Size. Where can I get help? The customer service page answers size and order questions.
It depends on the colors you want to wear. His Kalex years in Moto2 come first. Then come the blue and black Monster Yamaha suits. The Red Bull KTM years bring bright orange. His last seasons use Repsol Honda colors. There is also a purple and white design from his KTM winter test suit
in 2022. Each product page names its year, so compare the photos and pick the look you like.
A standard size works well if your numbers sit inside one row of the size chart. A race suit should fit close, so the armor stays in place. If your chest and waist fall in different sizes, or your arms or legs are long, pick Custom Size. You then enter your own numbers, and the suit is cut to them. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape.
A one-piece suit has no gap at the waist. It is the usual choice for track days and racing. A two-piece suit has a jacket and pants joined by a zip at the waist. You can wear the jacket on its own for road rides, then zip it to the pants for the track. Both styles have the same armor pockets and the same season colors.
Every suit can be made in cowhide, Monaco or kangaroo leather. You pick the leather when you order. The base cowhide is 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick and holds its shape well on the bike. If you ride in hot weather, add perforation so air can flow through the suit. A vented or hydro speed hump is also an option on the back.
Hang the suit on a wide, padded hanger so the shoulders keep their shape. Keep it in a cool, dry room, away from direct sun. Wipe off bugs and dirt with a damp cloth after each ride. Let it dry slowly, never next to a heater. Treat the leather with a balm a few times a year. The leather care instructions explain each step.
