Each custom race suit is cut and stitched by hand after you order. The seams at the shoulders, elbows and knees are safety stitched.

Armor You Choose

Pick the armor and where it sits, inside or outside the suit. The pockets are placed to fit your body.

Made-to-Measure Fit

The suit is cut to your measurements. A close fit stops the leather from bunching when you tuck in.

Custom Race Suits - Hand-Stitched Cowhide

A custom race suit from Leather Collection is cut to your measurements and stitched by hand. You choose a one-piece or two-piece suit, the leather, the armor and the colors. Add patches, logos or your race number to make it your own. For jackets, gloves and boots made the same way, see the custom motorcycle gear range.

Armor pockets sit at the shoulders, elbows and hips. You decide if the armor goes inside or outside the suit. The leather is stitched twice at the points that take the most stress.

Race Suit Types

One-Piece Race Suits - a good fit for track days and club racing. The jacket and pants are joined, so the armor stays in place when you lean into a turn.

Two-Piece Race Suits - a good fit for riders who want a jacket and pants they can wear apart. Each part has its own armor pockets, cut to your waist and leg size.

Suits With Custom Armor - a good fit for riders who want a say in their protection. Choose the pads, how thick they are and where they sit.

Suits With Airflow - a good fit for hot track days. Perforated leather panels let air reach your body. You choose where the holes go.

Suits With Patches and Numbers - a good fit for racers who want their name, team or sponsor logos on the suit. Each patch edge is stitched by hand so it stays flat.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Send your chest, waist, hips, inseam and sleeve length, plus your height and weight. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape for each one. Measure over thin clothes, not over a jacket. The team checks your numbers and may ask a question before the leather is cut. This step helps the suit fit well when you tuck in on the bike.
A one-piece suit joins the jacket and pants into one. The armor stays lined up when you lean, so many riders choose it for track days and racing. A two-piece suit has a jacket and pants that you can wear apart. It is easier to put on and suits riders who also want a jacket for the road. Both are hand-stitched and cut to your size.
Yes. You can choose any color and match it to a Pantone shade. You can add team logos, sponsor names and your race number. A design consultant shows you where each patch will sit before the suit is made. Every patch edge is stitched by hand, so it stays flat and does not peel. You agree on the full design before the leather is cut.
The suit has armor pockets at the shoulders, elbows and hips. You choose if the armor goes inside the suit or on the outside. You can also pick how thick the pads are. The pockets are placed using your own measurements, so the pads sit over the right spots. Ask on the customer service page if you are not sure which armor to pick.
Wipe the suit with a damp cloth after a ride to remove dirt and bugs. Let it dry on a wide hanger, away from heat and direct sun. Use a leather conditioner now and then so the leather stays soft and does not crack. Do not put it in a washing machine or send it to a dry cleaner. The leather care instructions page has more tips.
