This Fonsi Nieto 2003 MotoGP suit is a replica inspired by his blue Aprilia race suit. It is cut from 1.2-1.3 mm drum-dyed, milled cowhide and hand-stitched to order.

Fonsi Nieto 2003 MotoGP Suit Safety Features
- Cowhide leather, 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick, forms the outer shell. Drum dyeing sets the blue color deep in the hide.
- CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) protects the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. Each piece can be taken out.
- An EN 1621-2 compatible back protector slides into the back panel and can also be removed.
- A second layer of leather is stitched over the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- Foam padding at the elbows and knees adds a soft layer under the leather.
- The main seams use dual and triple rows of stitching.

Outer Layer
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors sit on the outside of the shoulders and knees.
- TPU elbow sliders and replaceable TPU knee sliders take the scrape in a slide. The knee sliders attach with Velcro.
- Accordion stretch panels at the lower back and knees let the suit flex when you tuck in.
- Stretch Cordura panels in the sleeves, crotch and calves give extra reach.
- Pre-curved sleeves match the bent arms of a race riding position.
- YKK semi auto-lock zippers close the front, cuffs and calves. Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves fine-tune the fit.
- The collar and cuffs are soft neoprene to stop rubbing.
Inner Layer
- A polyester mesh lining keeps air moving inside the suit.
- One mesh pocket sits on the left side of the chest.
- An optional speed hump adds support behind the neck.
