- The Enea Bastianini 2022 MotoGP jacket uses 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled.
- Pre-curved sleeves follow a race riding position.
- YKK semi auto-lock coil zippers close the front and cuffs.
- TPU-reinforced metal protectors sit on the outside of the shoulders.

The cowhide is 1.2-1.3 mm thick. That is a common thickness for race jackets. It resists scuffs in a slide but still lets you bend your arms. The hide is drum-dyed for an even grey and red color. It is milled, which makes it softer from the first ride. Cordura stretch panels at the sleeves add more movement.
CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders and elbows. It meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for limb protectors. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
