Outer Layer
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather. It is drum-dyed and milled.
- Sleeves are pre-curved to fit a riding position.
- A YKK semi auto-lock coil zipper closes the front.
- TPU-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders. TPU sliders sit on the elbows.
- Stretch Cordura panels at the sleeves help you move.
- Safety stitches run through the main seams.

A removable back protector covers the spine and is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, TPU-reinforced metal protectors guard the shoulders, and TPU sliders guard the elbows. You can take the inner armor out to clean the jacket.

A speed hump is a raised panel on the back, behind the neck. It helps air flow over your back when you tuck in. You can pick no hump, a standard hump, a ventilated hump or a hydro hump. The hydro hump has room for a drink pouch. Perforation adds small holes for air. You can pick none, the chest, the front or the full jacket. More holes keep you cooler on hot days.
