Yes. The standard leather is cowhide, 1.2-1.3 mm thick. It is drum-dyed and then milled, which makes it softer. When you order, you can choose Monaco leather or kangaroo leather instead. Kangaroo is lighter than cowhide. The cut, armor pockets and stitching stay the same for each choice. Pick the leather that fits your feel and budget.
The suit has removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. This armor meets EN 1621-1:2012. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, carbon-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees. The elbows have TPU sliders. TPU knee sliders attach with Velcro, so you can swap them when they wear down.
Yes. You can order a 1-piece suit or a 2-piece suit. The 2-piece version has a jacket and pants. Silver snap buttons hold the pants in place. You can also order only the jacket or only the pants. A 1-piece suit stays put on the bike. A 2-piece suit is easier to put on and take off.
