The standard suit uses cowhide leather that is 1.2–1.3 mm thick. It is drum-dyed, so the color goes deep into the hide. It is also milled, or tumbled, to make it softer. When you order, you can pick Cowhide Leather, Monaco Leather or Kangaroo Leather. Kangaroo leather is thinner and lighter for its strength. Cowhide is the standard choice and feels firm. The colors and armor stay the same with each leather.
The suit holds removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. This armor meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for arm and leg armor. Level 2 lets less force through than Level 1. The back holds a removable protector that is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, replaceable TPU knee sliders take the wear when you lean the bike. Take the armor out before you clean the lining.

Take out the armor and knee sliders first. Wipe the leather with a damp cloth after each ride. Use a leather cleaner and conditioner now and then. Do not soak the suit or use bleach.
