Oliveira BMW Suit Safety Features
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm drum-dyed, milled cowhide. It resists scuffs and tears in a slide.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012.
- A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees.
- TPU sliders guard the elbows. The TPU knee sliders can be replaced when they wear down.

The base hide is drum-dyed, milled cowhide, 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. Drum dyeing colors the hide all the way through. Milling softens it, so it bends with you on the bike. When you order, you can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather. Kangaroo is light for its strength, so some track riders like it. The lining is a breathable mesh. Every suit is hand-stitched and made to order.
