The base suit is cut from cowhide leather that is 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. The leather is drum-dyed, so the color goes deep into the hide. It is also milled, or tumbled, to make it softer. You can also choose Monaco Leather or Kangaroo Leather when you order. Pick the leather in the product options. Every panel is stitched by hand, whichever leather you choose.
Inside, the suit holds removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. This armor meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for limb armor. Level 2 lets less force through than Level 1. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, TPU-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees. TPU sliders sit on the elbows, and the knee sliders can be replaced.
