Rossi Le Mans 2016 Suit Safety Features
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled for a soft feel and lasting color.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) protects the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- A removable back protector (EN 1621-2 compatible) sits over the spine.
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders and knees.
- TPU sliders guard the elbows, and the TPU knee sliders are replaceable.

Outer Layer
- The Valentino Rossi Movistar Yamaha Le Mans design uses fluorescent yellow and metallic blue panels, inspired by his 2016 suit.
- Accordion stretch panels on the lower back and knees let you fold into a tuck.
- Cordura stretch inserts in the sleeves, crotch and calves add room to move.
- Pre-curved sleeves follow your arms to the bars.
- Semi auto-lock YKK coil zippers close the front, cuffs and calves.
- Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves help set the fit.
Inner Layer
- A breathable mesh lining lets air flow inside.
- A small mesh pocket sits on the left side of the chest.
- Silver snap buttons hold the pants on the 2-piece suit.

Pick each size in its own menu, so the gloves and boots fit you as well as the suit does. They are made to order with the suit. Adding them gives you a full set for track days or for display.
The removable back protector sits along your spine inside the suit. It is made to fit the EN 1621-2 standard for back armor. It spreads the force of a hit over a wider area. You can take it out to clean the lining or to fit a different one. The optional speed hump sits on the outside, behind your head, and helps air move over your back when you tuck in.

After each ride, wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth to remove bugs and dirt. Take out the armor and let the suit dry on a wide hanger at room heat, away from heaters and the sun. Rub a thin coat of leather conditioner into the cowhide every few months. Do not put the suit in a washing machine. Store it in a breathable bag, not plastic. The leather care guide has more tips.
