Ben Spies Yamaha WSBK Suit Safety Features
- The shell is drum-dyed, milled cowhide, 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. It resists scuffs in a slide.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- An extra layer of leather covers the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- Foam padding at the elbows and knees softens hits.
- TPU-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees. TPU sliders cover the elbows.
- Replaceable TPU knee sliders attach with hook-and-loop tabs.

Outer Layer
- The black, blue and white design follows the Sterilgarda Yamaha WSBK colors of 2009.
- Accordion stretch panels at the lower back and knees let you fold into a tuck.
- Stretch Cordura panels at the sleeves, crotch and calves help you move.
- Pre-curved sleeves match a forward riding position.
- Semi auto-lock YKK coil zippers close the front, cuffs and calves.
- Hook-and-loop straps at the neck, cuffs and calves tighten the fit. A soft neoprene collar and cuffs help stop rubbing.
Inner Layer
- A breathable mesh lining lets air move through the suit.
- A left-side inner mesh chest pocket holds small items.
