Buying Guidance
How do I choose a size? Measure at home and compare with the Size Guide, or pick Custom Size. Where can I get help? The customer service page answers sizing and order questions.
The jackets cover 2006 to 2011. There is a Suzuki design from his 2006 AMA season and a Sterilgarda Yamaha design from his 2009 WSBK title year. For MotoGP, there are Monster Yamaha designs from 2010 and a Yamaha design from 2011. Main colors are black, white and blue, with yellow on one design. Each product page names its year.
Measure your chest, waist, sleeve and torso at home with a soft tape. Compare your numbers with the size guide. If you fall between two sizes or want a close race fit, pick Custom Size at order and enter your own measurements. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape. Check each number twice before you send it.
Every jacket is cut from 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide and hand-stitched to order. It has armor pockets at the shoulders, elbows and back. A zip at the waist lets you join the jacket to matching pants. At order you set the speed hump: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. You also pick the perforation: none, chest, front or full, for more air on hot days.
Yes. Pick gloves in the Matching Gear option when you order the jacket. The gloves are made in colors that match the jacket design, so the set looks like one livery. If you also want a suit, look at the race suit range for the same seasons. All items are hand-stitched to order by Leather Collection, so each one is made after you order.
Wipe the jacket with a damp cloth after each ride to remove bugs and dirt. Let it dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Use a leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months to keep the cowhide soft. Store it on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. The leather care instructions page has more tips.
