Buying Guidance How do I choose between one-piece and two-piece? A one-piece suit has no waist zip, so it is the usual pick for the track. A two-piece suit is easier to put on. Both use the same cowhide and hand stitching. How do I get a custom size? Use the Size Guide to measure, then enter your numbers at order. How do I care for the leather? Condition the suit every 6 to 12 months to keep it soft. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Measure your chest, waist, sleeve and torso over a thin base layer. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape for each one. Take each measurement twice to be sure. Then enter all of the numbers at order, and the suit is hand-stitched to fit them. If a number is unclear, the customer service page can help before you order.
A standard size follows the Size Guide. A custom size is cut to your own chest, waist, sleeve and torso. That gives less loose leather at the waist and a better tucked riding position. Custom sizes are open on the suits and jackets. Boots and gloves come in standard sizes only. Every piece is hand-stitched in cowhide and made to order.
Every suit and jacket is cut from 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide as standard. On the suits, you can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather at order. You also set the speed hump and the perforation. A removable or thermal lining and extra knee sliders can be added to the suits. All of these choices are made at order, since each suit is made to order.
Condition the suit every 6 to 12 months to keep the leather soft. Rub the conditioner in with a soft cloth. Then hang the suit on a padded hanger in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and heat. Do not machine-wash it or soak it in water. Light scuffs from track use can be wiped with a dry cloth. The leather care instructions give more tips.
Yes. Matching gloves and boots can be added to a suit order in the Matching Gears option. You can also order gloves on their own, such as the Alex Marquez 2026 race gloves
or the Alex Marquez 2025 MotoGP gloves
. They follow the colors of the same season as the suit. Gloves come in standard sizes, so measure around your hand and check the size chart first.
