Yari Montella 2026 Race Suit Safety Features
- The black and red design is inspired by the Barni Spark Ducati suit from the 2026 WSBK season.
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- A removable back protector (EN 1621-2 compatible) covers the spine.
- TPU-reinforced metal protectors sit on the outside of the shoulders and knees.
- TPU elbow sliders and replaceable TPU knee sliders take the scrape in a slide.
- Pre-curved sleeves follow the bent-arm riding position.
- Accordion stretch panels at the lower back and knees help you move on the bike.
- Cordura panels at the sleeves, crotch and calves add flex.
Suit Specifications & Construction Details
Outer Layer
- YKK semi auto-lock coil zippers close the front, cuffs and calves.
- Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves let you set the fit.
- Velcro tabs hold the knee sliders, so they are easy to swap.
- Soft neoprene at the cuffs and collar helps stop rubbing.
- Strong nylon thread is used on the seams. Key seams are double or triple stitched.
Inner Layer
- A breathable mesh lining lets air move around you.
- One mesh pocket sits inside on the left side of the chest.
- On the 2-piece suit, the pants close with silver snap buttons.

- Pick a 1-piece suit, a 2-piece suit, the jacket only or the pants only.
- Leather: cowhide, Monaco leather or kangaroo leather.
- Speed hump: No Hump, Standard Hump, Ventilated Hump or Hydro Hump.
- Perforation: none, perforated chest, perforated front or full perforation.
- Add-ons: a removable lining, a thermal removable lining or an extra knee slider.
- You can add matching gloves (XS to 3XL) and boots (EU 36 to 46).
- Men's sizes run EU 42 to 60 (US 32 to 50). Women's sizes run EU 38 to 50 (US 6 to 18). Check the size chart first.

The suit has removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012. A removable back protector covers the spine and is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, TPU-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders and knees. TPU sliders sit on the elbows. The knee sliders can be replaced when they wear down. You can take the inner armor out when you clean the suit.
The standard shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled, so the color is even. You can also pick Monaco leather or kangaroo leather when you order. Kangaroo leather is thinner and lighter than cowhide, so some track riders like it. Each choice is hand-stitched and made to order. Pick your leather in the Leather menu before you add the suit to your cart.
Yes. You can choose a 1-piece suit, a 2-piece suit, the jacket only or the pants only. A 1-piece suit is one closed garment from neck to ankle. A 2-piece suit splits at the waist, so it is easier to put on and take off. The pants close with silver snap buttons. You can wear the jacket alone for road rides. The same armor and leather choices apply to each option.
Choose Custom Size in the Size options, then complete checkout. You then receive an order number. Open the measurement form and enter that number with your body measurements. For a suit, the form asks for numbers like chest girth, waist, hip, external leg length and crotch to ground. Use the how to measure your size to see where each measurement is taken.
After a ride, wipe the suit with a soft, dry cloth. For dirt, use a damp cloth with a little mild soap. Take the armor out first. Let the suit dry on a wide hanger, away from heaters and strong sun.
