The standard suit uses cowhide leather that is 1.2–1.3 mm thick. It is drum-dyed, so the black color goes deep into the hide. It is also milled, or tumbled, to make it softer. You can switch to Monaco Leather or Kangaroo Leather when you order. Kangaroo leather is thinner and lighter for its strength. The orange piping runs along the panels.
The suit holds removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. This armor meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for arm and leg armor. Level 2 lets less force through than Level 1. The back holds a removable protector that is EN 1621-2 compatible. That is the standard for back protectors. Outside, there are metal protectors at the shoulders and knees, plus TPU elbow and knee sliders. Take the armor out before you clean the lining.

A 1 Piece Suit has no gap at the waist, so it stays in place in a slide. Many track riders choose it. A 2 Piece Suit splits into a jacket and pants. A speed hump is a raised shape on the upper back. It helps air flow over your back when you tuck in. You can pick No Hump, Standard Hump, Ventilated Hump or Hydro Hump. Perforation means small holes in the leather. The holes let air reach your body. Pick No Perforation, Perforated Chest, Perforated Front or Full Perforated. More holes keep you cooler on hot days.
