The pants have removable CE Level 2 armor at the knees and hips. The armor meets EN 1621-1:2012, a European standard for limb armor. Level 2 armor lets less force pass through than Level 1. On the outside, TPU knee sliders take the wear when your knee touches the track. The sliders can be replaced when they wear down. You can take the inner armor out to clean the pants.

Wipe the pants with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. For more dirt, use a leather cleaner and a soft brush. Do not soak them in water. Take the armor out before you clean them. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and strong sun. Use a leather conditioner now and then to keep the leather soft. For more tips, read the leather care instructions.
