Vintage Racing Leather: AMA Race Suits

These suits are inspired by the leathers worn in AMA road racing. Designs follow Suzuki, Ducati, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki teams. Most use white, blue or red, with sponsor-style graphics of their season. Two picks are the Wes Cooley Yoshimura Suzuki 1979-1980 suit and the Miguel Duhamel Honda AMA 2008 leathers .

Each vintage racing leather suit is cut from 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. At order, most suits let you pick cowhide, Monaco or kangaroo leather. You can set the speed hump to none, standard, ventilated or hydro. The perforation can be none, chest, front or full. Add-ons include a removable lining, a thermal lining and extra knee sliders.

Standard sizes and a custom size cut to your own measurements are offered on every piece. Matching gloves and boots can be added to most suit orders. Each piece is hand-stitched and made to order.

Suit Types

One-Piece Race Suit - the classic track setup, with the jacket and pants sewn as one body.

Two-Piece Race Suit - a jacket and pants joined by a zip at the waist. You can wear each half on its own.

Jackets - two designs are race jackets: the Wes Cooley Yoshimura Suzuki race jacket and the Ben Spies Suzuki 2006 leather jacket .
