- Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012.
- A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees on the outside.
- TPU sliders sit on the elbows. The TPU knee sliders attach with Velcro, so you can swap them.
- Double and triple stitching runs along the seams that take the most stress.
Suit Construction
Outer Layer
- This Valentino Rossi Repsol suit uses 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled, so it feels soft.
- The panels come in fluorescent orange, fluorescent red and white, the Repsol Honda 2003 colors.
- Accordion stretch panels at the lower back and knees let you bend.
- Stretch panels in the sleeves, crotch and calves help you move.
- Pre-curved sleeves fit the bent-arm position you hold on a sport bike.
- YKK semi auto-lock zippers close the front, cuffs and calves.
- Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves let you adjust the fit.
- Soft neoprene at the cuffs and collar feels gentle on your skin.
