Nicky Hayden (1981-2017) won the 2006 MotoGP world title with Repsol Honda. These replicas are inspired by the suits, jackets and gloves he wore from 2007 to 2017. Each piece is hand-stitched and made to order. The range sits in the MotoGP rider replicas
section.
Hayden won the AMA Superbike title in 2002 and joined Repsol Honda in MotoGP in 2003. His first Grand Prix win came at Laguna Seca in 2005. He moved to Ducati in 2009 and rode there for five seasons. He then raced for the Aspar team on a Honda in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 and 2017 he raced in World Superbike for Honda.
Suits are cut from 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide as standard. At order you can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather, and set the speed hump and perforation. You can add a removable or thermal lining and extra knee sliders. A custom size, cut to your own measurements, is open on most designs.
Pick the team and colors you like most. His Repsol Honda designs cover 2007 and 2008. His Ducati years run from 2009 to 2013. The Aspar Honda designs cover 2014 and 2015, and his World Superbike years with Honda cover 2016 and 2017. Most designs use fluorescent red with white. Each product names its year, so you can match a suit, jacket and gloves from one season.
Suits use 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide as standard, and you can switch to Monaco or kangaroo leather at order. You then choose the speed hump: none, standard, vented or hydro. Perforation can be none, chest, front or full. A removable or thermal lining and extra knee sliders can be added. Every suit is hand-stitched once your order is placed, so these choices are made up front.
Yes, on most designs. Pick Custom Size at order and enter your own measurements. The suit is then cut to your chest, waist, sleeve, torso and inseam numbers. This helps when you sit between two standard sizes, or when your arms or legs are longer or shorter than the chart. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape.
Yes. Each suit design can be ordered as a one-piece suit, a two-piece suit, a jacket or pants. Some jackets and gloves are also made as their own designs. The Nicky Hayden WSBK 2017 gloves
match his last World Superbike season. Matching gloves and boots can also be added to a suit order. Each item is hand-stitched and made to order.
Wipe the suit with a soft, dry cloth after each ride to remove dust and moisture. If it gets wet, hang it to dry at room temperature, away from heaters. Rub leather conditioner into the seams and flex areas, such as the elbows, knees and waist, now and then. Store it on a wide hanger in a cool, dark place, out of direct sun. The leather care instructions cover each step.
