MotoGP 2016 Replica Suits Rider Colors and Custom Sizes
These race suits are inspired by the riders and bikes of the 2016 MotoGP and WSBK seasons. Designs follow Yamaha, Ducati, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki team colors. Red, white, blue and black are the main shades. Leather Collection has made leather gear since 2009.
Each suit starts as 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. At order, you can switch to Monaco leather or kangaroo leather. Every seam is stitched by hand. Choose a speed hump: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. Then pick the perforation: none, chest, front or full. A removable lining, a thermal lining and an extra knee slider can be added too.
Race Suit Types
One-Piece Suit - the jacket and pants are joined in one piece. This type suits track days on closed circuits. The Valentino Rossi Losail 2016 suit
is one example.
For WSBK fans, the Jonathan Rea Kawasaki 2016 race suit
follows the Kawasaki team colors of that year. A Tom Sykes Kawasaki design sits next to it.
Buying Guidance
What size do I need? Measure your chest, waist and inseam. Then compare them with the Size Guide. Every suit also has a custom size choice, and Made to Measure shows how to send your numbers.
Which leather should I pick? Cowhide is the base leather. Monaco and kangaroo leather can be chosen at order instead.
How does delivery work? Each suit is made after you order. The Shipping & Delivery page explains transit to your region.
Condition the leather every 6 to 12 months to keep it soft and stop cracks.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A one-piece suit joins the jacket and pants in one garment. There is no gap at the waist when you tuck in on the bike, so it suits track days. A two-piece suit has a jacket and pants that zip together. You can wear the jacket alone on the road. Both types use the same 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide and hand-stitched seams. Every 2016 design in this range can be ordered either way, or as a jacket or pants only.
Yes. Cowhide, 1.2-1.3 mm thick, is the base leather on every suit in this range. At order, you can switch to Monaco leather or kangaroo leather instead. The choice changes the feel of the suit, not the design. The colors and sponsor-style graphics stay the same. If you are not sure which leather fits your riding, the customer service page shows how to ask before you order.
Pick a standard size if your chest, waist and inseam match one row of the size chart. Pick Custom Size if you fall between two sizes, or if you want a closer race fit. With a custom size, the suit is cut to your own numbers. Use the how to measure guide to take each number with a soft tape. Measure in a thin shirt, and stand up straight while a friend holds the tape.
Each suit has a few options that you set at order. Choose a speed hump: none, standard, ventilated or hydro. Choose the perforation: none, chest, front or full. Perforated panels let more air through on hot days. You can also add a removable lining, a thermal removable lining or an extra knee slider. Matching gloves and boots can be added to the same order, so the whole set arrives together.
Wipe the suit with a damp cloth after each ride to remove bugs and dust. Let it dry on a wide hanger, away from heaters and direct sun. Condition the leather every 6 to 12 months so it stays soft and does not crack. Never put a leather suit in a washing machine. Store it in a cool, dry place. The leather care instructions explain each step in more detail.
