Sheepskin leather comes from the hide of a sheep. Its fibers are finer than cowhide, so it feels soft and bends easily. On this coat it is 0.8–0.9 mm thick. That keeps the coat light enough to wear in a car seat. The plain finish gives the brown leather a smooth, even look. It can soften and darken a little as you wear it.

Wipe the coat with a soft, dry cloth after you wear it. If it gets wet, let it dry in the air, away from heaters. Use a leather conditioner made for soft leather once or twice a year.
