Outer Layer
- This Franco Morbidelli 2023 MotoGP jacket is a replica of his Yamaha street style. The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather.
- The leather is drum-dyed and milled. That makes it soft, so it bends with you on the bike.
- The colors are black, grey and Yamaha blue.
- Pre-curved sleeves follow your arms in a riding position, so the jacket does not pull at the shoulders.
- YKK semi auto-lock coil zippers close the front and stay shut while you ride.
- Metal shoulder protectors with carbon reinforcement and TPU elbow sliders sit on the outside of the jacket.

- A breathable mesh lining lets air move, so you stay cool on warm days.

The shell is cowhide leather, 1.2-1.3 mm thick. That is a common thickness for riding jackets. The hide is drum-dyed, so the color goes all the way through. It is also milled, which softens it and helps it bend at the elbows and back. You can wear it on the street or on track days. The leather comes in black, grey and Yamaha blue, and each jacket is hand-stitched to order.
Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders and elbows. It meets EN 1621-1:2012, the standard for limb armor. A removable back protector covers the spine and is EN 1621-2 compatible. Wipe the jacket with a soft, dry cloth after each ride to take off dust and bugs. If it gets wet, let it dry at room heat, away from a heater or the sun. Use a leather conditioner a few times a year to keep the hide soft. Do not machine wash or tumble dry it. Hang it on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place.
