Francesco Bagnaia 2023 MotoGP Suit Safety Features
- The base leather is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled for deep color and a softer feel.
- Metal protectors with a TPU layer cover the shoulders and knees on the outside.
- TPU sliders cover the elbows. Replaceable TPU knee sliders fix on with Velcro.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- A removable back protector covers the spine. It is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- Double and triple stitching holds the seams that take the most stress.

Outer Layer
- Accordion stretch panels on the lower back and knees let the suit bend with you.
- Stretch Cordura at the sleeves, crotch and calves gives more room to move.
- Pre-curved sleeves match the bent arms of the riding position.
- Semi auto-lock YKK coil zippers close the front, cuffs and calves.
- Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves help you set the fit.
- Soft neoprene trims the cuffs and collar.
Inner Layer
- A breathable mesh lining lets heat escape.
- One mesh chest pocket sits inside on the left side.
Racing Suit Customization & Options
- Pick a one-piece suit, a two-piece suit, the jacket or the pants. The two-piece pants close with silver snap buttons.
- Choose cowhide, Monaco or kangaroo leather at order.
- Speed hump: No Hump, Standard Hump, Ventilated Hump or Hydro Hump. Perforation: none, chest, front or full.
- Add-ons include a removable lining, a thermal removable lining and an extra knee slider. Matching gloves and boots are also offered.

Yes. The standard leather is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide, drum-dyed and milled. In the Leather menu, you can choose cowhide, Monaco or kangaroo leather instead. Pick the one you want when you order. The rest of the suit stays the same, with the same armor, sliders and stretch panels. Like all motorcycle race suits from Leather Collection, it is hand-stitched and made to order.
The speed hump is the raised part on the back, behind your neck. It fills the space between your helmet and your back when you tuck in. Choose No Hump, Standard Hump, Ventilated Hump or Hydro Hump. A ventilated hump lets some air through. The removable back protector is a separate part and comes with every suit.
Yes. The suit comes with replaceable TPU knee sliders. TPU is a tough plastic. The sliders fix on with Velcro, so you can swap them when they wear thin. Knee sliders take the scrape when your knee touches the road in a turn. You can also order an extra knee slider as an add-on, so you have a spare ready for your next track day.
