Aero Racing Suit Safety Features
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders and knees.
- TPU sliders cover the elbows. The TPU knee sliders can be replaced when they wear down.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012.
- A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- Rubber padding sits at the biceps, hips and tailbone.

Cowhide Suit Construction
- The base hide is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather. It is drum-dyed and milled.
- You can also choose Monaco or kangaroo leather when you order.
- Accordion stretch panels at the elbows, lower back and knees help you bend.
- Kevlar stretch panels in the crotch, behind the calves and under the sleeves add room to move.
- Pre-curved sleeves fit the riding position.
- YKK semi auto-lock zippers close the suit. Silver snaps join the pants on the 2-piece version.
- Soft neoprene cuffs and collar feel kind on the skin.
- Sewn-in Velcro holds the knee pucks in place.
- A breathable mesh lining and one inner chest pocket on the left side sit inside.

EN 1621-1 is the European test for limb impact protectors, such as shoulder and knee armor. In the test, a weight drops onto the armor and a sensor measures the force that passes through. Level 2 armor lets less force through than Level 1. This suit has removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. Its removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
