The jacket is inspired by the 2002 WSBK season, when Colin Edwards rode a Castrol Honda. It uses fluorescent green and white panels with his race number and sponsor-style graphics. The design is fixed, so the colors are the same on every order. You still choose the size, the speed hump and the perforation. For a full set, look at the race suit and boots in the same rider range.
Standard sizes run EU 42 to 60 for men and EU 38 to 50 for women. Measure your chest, waist, sleeve and torso at home first. Use the how to measure guide to take each number with a soft tape. If you fall between sizes, or you want a closer race fit, pick Custom Size at order. The jacket is then cut to your own numbers.
The jacket is cut from 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide and stitched by hand. It has armor pockets at the shoulders, elbows and back, so the pads sit where you need them. A connection zip at the waist can join the jacket to matching race pants. Inside, there are two pockets in the front panels: one with a snap and one with a zip. They hold small items like keys or a card.
A speed hump is a raised pad on the back of the jacket. It helps air flow over your back when you tuck in. Pick no hump, a standard hump, a ventilated hump or a hydro hump. Perforation means small holes in the leather that let air in. Pick none, chest, front or full perforation. Riders in hot weather often pick more holes. Riders in cool weather often pick fewer.
Wipe the jacket with a damp cloth after each ride to remove bugs and dust. Let it dry on a wide hanger, away from heaters and direct sun. Use a leather balm every few months so the cowhide stays soft and does not crack. Never machine wash it. Keep the armor out when you clean the inside. The leather care instructions explain each step.
