Cowhide has dense fibers, so it is hard to tear or puncture. These gloves use 0.8-0.9 mm cowhide sewn with strong nylon thread. The seam between the left thumb and pointer finger is reinforced, since that spot takes a lot of strain on the grips. Each pair is stitched by hand after you order. With care, the leather gets softer and shapes to your hand over time.
