This A-2 flight jacket is cut from brown sheepskin, 0.8-0.9 mm thick. It is hand-stitched and made to order.

The A-2 flight jacket design is inspired by the jackets worn by US Army Air Corps pilots in the 1930s and 1940s. It has a front zipper, two front pockets, a collar tab and ribbed cuffs and waist. After the war, the style moved into everyday fashion.

This version is made from brown sheepskin, 0.8-0.9 mm thick. Sheepskin is soft and light. A cotton lining adds warmth on cool days. Leather Collection has made leather gear since 2009, and each jacket is hand-stitched to order.

Sheepskin is soft, light and easy to move in. At 0.8-0.9 mm, it drapes well and feels good from the first day. It also keeps you warm without much weight. The leather will soften and gain a light shine as you wear it. If you want a heavier jacket, look at a cowhide style instead. You can pick from three lining choices. Regular Lining is soft cotton that adds warmth. No Lining makes the jacket lighter, which is handy if you wear a sweater under it. Wipe off dust and light dirt with a soft, dry cloth. Use a small amount of leather conditioner made for soft leather now and then. Keep the jacket away from heaters and strong sun.
