The standard suit uses cowhide leather that is 1.2-1.3 mm thick. The hide is drum-dyed and milled. Drum-dyeing puts the color all the way through. Milling makes the leather softer, so it bends as you ride. When you order, you can also choose Monaco or kangaroo leather instead of cowhide. Stretch panels at the back, knees and sleeves help you move.
Custom Size is one of the Size options for the Bradley Smith 2015 suit. Select it, check out, and note your order number. Next, open the measurement form and type in that number with your body measurements. You will enter height, chest girth, waist, hip, sleeve length, waist length (down the back from the collar), external leg length and crotch to ground. The suit holds removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for arm and leg impact protectors. A removable back protector covers the spine, and it is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, metal plates with TPU cover the shoulders and knees. TPU sliders sit on the elbows, and the knee sliders can be replaced.
