About the Range
Most jackets here are sheepskin, which is soft and light. Others use cowhide or goatskin for a firmer feel. The leather runs from 0.8 to 1.1 mm thick. Colors include black, brown, camel, beige, tan and white. Start with the Boston brown leather bomber
or the London camel leather jacket
.
How do I find the right size? Measure your chest, waist and sleeve, then check the Size Guide. For an exact fit, Made to Measure lets you give every number.
Can I choose the lining? Yes. Most jackets offer no lining, a regular lining or a sublimated lining. You can upload your own lining design.
How do I care for a leather bomber? Condition the leather every 6 to 12 months and hang it on a wide hanger.
Measure your chest at the widest point and your waist at the narrowest. Then measure your sleeve from the back of the neck to the wrist. The measuring guide shows where to place the tape. Pick Custom Size on the jacket page and enter your numbers. The jacket is then cut and hand-stitched to them, so the sleeves and chest match your frame.
Sheepskin is the softest and lightest of the three, so it drapes well and feels easy to wear. Cowhide is firmer and a little heavier, which suits a rugged look. Goatskin sits in between and has a pebbled grain. Most bombers in this range are sheepskin. Each jacket page shows its leather, so check it before you order.
Yes. A B-3 style shearling jacket has fur on the inside, which traps body heat on cold days. The leather shell blocks wind. Some bombers in this range offer a lambskin shearling or artificial fur option. Rib knit and unlined styles are lighter and better for cool spring and fall days. Pick the weight that fits your climate and how much you layer.
Most jackets in this range offer three lining choices: no lining, a regular lining or a sublimated lining. A sublimated lining is printed with a design. You can upload your own design or add notes about what you want when you order. No lining keeps the jacket light, while a regular lining slides on more easily over a sweater.
Condition the leather every 6 to 12 months with a leather cream so it stays soft and does not crack. Wipe off dust and spills with a damp cloth. Hang the jacket on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place, out of direct sun. If it gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature. The leather care instructions explain each step.
