Thinsulate is a thin synthetic insulation. It traps warm air close to your skin. The 40-gram weight gives good warmth while keeping the gloves slim. Keep the gloves as dry as you can. If they get wet, take them off and let them dry at room temperature, away from a heater. Once dry, rub in a little conditioner made for soft leather.
