FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Thinsulate is a thin insulation made of very fine fibers. The fibers trap warm air close to your skin. Because they are so fine, the lining stays thin, so you can still bend your fingers and grip things. These gloves use a 40-gram Thinsulate lining. That weight suits cold commutes, winter walks and jobs outside on chilly days.
Cowhide is tough and stands up to rubbing, grabbing and daily wear. At 0.8-0.9 mm thick, it still stays flexible. The Thinsulate inside adds warmth that leather alone cannot give. Together they make a glove that blocks wind on the outside and holds heat on the inside. The snap strap seals the wrist to keep cold air out.
Measure around your hand at the knuckles, leaving out your thumb. Then measure from the tip of your middle finger to your wrist. Compare both numbers with the size chart and pick from XS to 3XL. The lining takes up a little space, so if you are between sizes, choose the larger one.
Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth, then let the gloves dry at room temperature. Never dry them on a heater, since heat can stiffen cowhide. A few times each winter, rub in a small amount of leather conditioner. Store them flat in a dry place. For more tips, read the leather care instructions.
