The shoulders and knees carry metal protectors with a TPU shell around them. They sit on the outside of the leather. In a slide, a hard shell helps the suit glide over the track instead of grabbing it. The elbows have TPU sliders, and the knees have replaceable TPU sliders too. Inside, CE Level 2 pads add a second layer at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
