A flexible TPU knuckle protector sits over the back of your hand. TPU is a tough plastic that spreads the force of a knock over a wider area. It bends a little, so you can still close your hand on the grip. TPU sliders on foam backing also cover the palm, thumb and fingers. They help the glove slide on the road instead of grabbing it.
When you hold the bars, your fingers curl around the grip. Pre-curved fingers follow that shape, so the glove does not fight your hand. This helps your hand feel less tired on long rides. Wipe the gloves with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and strong sun. Remove salt, rain or sweat marks with a slightly damp cloth. Use a little leather conditioner every few months, then buff. Never put them in a washing machine. Store them flat in a cloth bag, not in plastic. More tips are in the leather care instructions.
