- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather, drum-dyed and milled.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) protects the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.

You can add a removable lining for a softer feel inside. A thermal removable lining adds warmth for cold track days. You can also add an extra knee slider, so a spare is ready when the first one wears down. Each add-on is picked in the product options. Matching gloves and boots can be added in the same order too.
The base leather is cowhide, 1.2-1.3 mm thick. It is drum-dyed and milled, so it is soft but still tough. Monaco leather is another choice at order. Kangaroo leather is the third. It is lighter than cowhide for its strength. All three get the same armor and the same hand stitching. The colors stay the same whichever leather you pick.
Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible. Take out the armor and the back protector first. Wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth. Let the suit dry on a wide hanger, away from heaters and direct sun. Use a leather conditioner now and then to keep the cowhide soft. The leather care instructions explain each step in more detail.
