Black Yamaha Race Suit Details
These black Yamaha leathers take their look from the 2019 MotoGP season. The base leather is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide, drum-dyed and milled. Leather Collection has made leather gear since 2009. Each suit is hand-stitched and made to order. It is part of the range.
Outer Layer
- Base leather: 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide. Monaco and kangaroo leather are also offered.

Kangaroo leather is thinner and lighter for its strength, so many track riders like it. Cowhide is thicker and firm. All three are hand-stitched in the same way, and all work with the armor, hump and perforation options.
Yes. The shoulders, elbows, knees and hips hold removable CE Level 2 armor. It meets EN 1621-1:2012, the European standard for arm and leg impact protectors. A removable back protector covers the spine, and it is EN 1621-2 compatible. The TPU knee sliders are held on with Velcro, so you can swap them when they wear down. You can add an Extra Knee Slider as an add-on.
Yes. In the Product option, choose 1 Piece Suit, 2 Piece Suit, Jacket or Pant. A one-piece suit has no gap at the waist. A two-piece suit is easier to put on and take off. You can pick No Hump, Standard Hump, Ventilated Hump or Hydro Hump. A hump sits on the upper back, behind your helmet. A ventilated hump lets some air move through.
