FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The outer shell is cowhide leather, 0.8 to 0.9 mm thick. Cowhide is a sturdy hide, and at this thickness it still lets your fingers bend. Inside, an aramid Kevlar lining sits under the leather. Aramid is a strong man-made fiber. Extra leather sits between the thumb and first finger, where the glove rubs most on the grips. The seams are hand-stitched with nylon thread.
Yes. The gloves come in one size run, from XS to 3XL, for men and women. To find your size, measure around your hand just below the knuckles, without the thumb. Then compare that number with the size chart. Ask on the customer service page if you are not sure.
A rubber guard covers the knuckles. Sliders sit on the palm, the thumb and the fingers, and each one rests on soft poly-foam padding. The sliders take the rub if your hand touches the road, and the foam softens a knock. The aramid Kevlar lining adds a strong layer under the leather. The gloves have no CE rating, so think of them as street gloves.
The gloves have air intakes and exhaust ports. Air comes in at the front and leaves at the back, so it moves over your hand as you ride. The pre-curved palm and fingers also mean less bunching of leather in your grip. A Velcro strap and a Velcro cuff close the wrist. You can loosen them a little on hot days for more air.
Wipe the gloves with a soft, damp cloth after a ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and strong sun. Heat can dry out the leather, and sun can fade the red. Put a little leather conditioner on them now and then to keep the cowhide soft. Keep the Velcro free of lint so it holds well. See the leather care page for more tips.
