Nappa is a soft, smooth type of leather. On this jacket it is sheepskin, about 0.8 to 0.9 mm thick. Thin sheepskin bends easily, so the jacket moves with you and the braided front lies flat. It also feels light to wear. The smooth surface shows the pink color evenly. Like any leather, nappa needs a little care to stay soft over the years.

There are three choices. No lining makes the jacket lighter and a bit cooler to wear. Regular lining feels smooth on your skin and slides easily over your clothes. A sublimated lining is printed with a design. You can upload your own design file when you order, so the inside of the jacket shows a pattern or picture that you pick.
Wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If you spill something, blot it with a damp cloth and do not rub. Use a cleaner and conditioner made for soft leather, and test it on a hidden spot first. Keep the jacket on a wide hanger, away from heat and strong sun, which can fade pink leather. The braid is worked into the leather on the front panels, so it is part of the jacket, not a patch. It adds texture to the plain pink leather.
