Patris Motorcycle Racing Suit Safety Features
- Removable CE Level 2 armor (EN 1621-1:2012) sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
- A removable back protector (EN 1621-2 compatible) runs along the spine.
- Carbon-reinforced metal protectors guard the outside of the shoulders and knees.
- TPU sliders sit on the elbows. TPU knee sliders can be replaced when worn.
- Rubber padding at the biceps, hips and tailbone adds a soft layer.
- Seams use strong nylon thread, with triple stitching in key spots.
Construction Details
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm white cowhide. It is drum-dyed and milled.
- Accordion stretch panels at the elbows, lower back and knees help you bend.
- Stretch panels at the crotch, behind the calves and under the sleeves add movement.
- Pre-curved sleeves match the shape of your arms on the bike.
- Semi auto-lock YKK coil zippers close the front and wrists.
- A soft neoprene collar and cuffs feel gentle on the skin.
- A breathable mesh lining lets air move inside.
- One mesh pocket sits inside on the left chest.
- Velcro points hold the knee sliders in place.
- Silver snap buttons join the pants on the 2-piece suit.

EN 1621-1 is the European standard for limb armor in riding gear. Level 2 armor lets less force pass through in a lab test than Level 1. In the Patris suit, Level 2 pads sit at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible. All of these pads can be taken out for cleaning.
Yes. The Product menu lets you pick a 1-piece suit, a 2-piece suit, the jacket alone or the pants alone. On the 2-piece suit, silver snap buttons join the jacket and pants. Two pieces are easier to put on and take off. See more

Cowhide is the base leather. It is 1.2-1.3 mm thick, drum-dyed and milled. You can also choose Monaco leather or kangaroo leather. Kangaroo is lighter than cowhide for its strength, so many track riders like it. Cowhide is thicker and a good choice for mixed riding. The suit is cut after you choose.
The speed hump sits behind your neck and upper back. You can pick no hump, a standard hump, a ventilated hump or a hydro hump. Perforation means small holes in the leather. Choose none, the chest, the front or the full suit. More holes let in more air, which helps in hot weather.
