Cowhide is the standard leather. It is 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick, drum-dyed and milled, so it is soft but tough. Kangaroo leather is an option at order. It is lighter for its strength, so the suit feels less heavy. Monaco leather is a third choice. All three are cut and hand-stitched to the same pattern, so the San Marino design stays the same.
