FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hold your hand flat with your fingers together. Wrap a soft tape around your hand at the knuckles, but leave out the thumb. Write down the number. Then measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Compare both numbers with the size chart. If you fall between two sizes, pick the larger one. These gloves come in standard sizes only, so measure with care.
Every pair is cut from cowhide that is 0.8-0.9 mm thick. This is thinner than the leather used for race suits. Thinner leather lets your fingers bend more easily, so you can feel the brake and throttle. Cowhide softens as you wear it and shapes itself to your hand. Each pair is hand-stitched after you place your order, in the size you choose.
They are race-style gloves, so they fit close to the hand. Many riders wear them on the street as well as on the track. A close fit can feel tight at first, so allow a few rides to break them in. Details such as knuckle protection and perforation differ by design. Check the product page for the pair you like before you order.
Wipe your gloves with a damp cloth after each ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Heat can make leather hard and cause cracks. Use a leather conditioner now and then to keep the cowhide soft. Store the gloves flat in a cool, dry place. The leather care instructions explain each step in more detail.
