FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TPU is a tough, bendy plastic. The protector sits over your knuckles, the part of the hand that often hits first in a fall. It bends as you grip, so it does not dig in on a long ride. TPU sliders on the palm, thumb and fingers add more cover. They help the glove slide instead of grab. A Velcro strap and cuff keep each glove on your wrist.
Your hand is bent when it holds the grips. These gloves are shaped in that bent position. The leather does not pull against your fingers, so your hands tire less on a long ride. It also helps you work the throttle and brake with less effort. Extra leather between the thumb and index finger adds strength where the grip wears most. Other leather motorcycle gloves share this shape.
Gloves need to be thinner than a jacket or suit so you can feel the levers. Cowhide at 0.8-0.9 mm is a good middle ground. It is tough enough for track days and thin enough to move with your fingers. The aramid (Kevlar) lining adds one more strong layer inside. The plain finish shows off the black, blue, red and white colors. Each pair is cut and stitched by hand after you order.
Measure around your hand at the knuckles, without the thumb. Then check the number against the glove size chart. Sizes run from XS to 3XL for men and women. Race gloves should feel close, with no loose leather at the fingertips. More styles are in the MotoGP racing gloves range.
Wipe the gloves with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Every few months, rub in a little leather conditioner, then buff. Store them flat or on a wide hanger in a cloth bag, not plastic. Never machine wash them. For more tips, read the leather care instructions or visit the customer service page.
