Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders and elbows. It meets EN 1621-1:2012. Level 2 armor lets less force through to your body than Level 1 armor. A removable back protector covers the spine and is EN 1621-2 compatible. You can take the armor out to clean the jacket. Put it back in before you ride.
After a ride, wipe the jacket with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and bugs. Let it dry on a wide hanger, away from heaters and strong sun. Sun can fade the red and blue panels over time.
