Nubuck is leather that has been sanded on the outer side of the hide. This gives it a short, soft nap that feels like velvet. Suede comes from the inner split of the hide, so nubuck is the tougher of the two. This vest uses 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide with a nubuck finish. It has a matte look and gains a darker tone in spots you touch often.
Laces run down each side of the vest, between the front and back panels. Pull them tighter for a closer fit over a shirt. Loosen them when you wear a thicker layer underneath. This lets one vest fit well across seasons. The laces also add a classic biker look. If your size changes a little, you can adjust the laces instead of buying a new size.

The standard lining is smooth satin. In the lining menu you can also pick no lining or a sublimated lining. No lining makes the vest lighter and more open. A sublimated lining is printed with a design, and you can upload your own image for it, such as a pattern, a club crest you own or a photo. Make your choice before checkout.
Brush the nubuck with a soft brush to lift dust and bring back the nap. A nubuck eraser can lift small marks. Keep water off it where you can. If it gets wet, let it dry at room heat, away from a heater. Use a spray or conditioner made for nubuck or suede once or twice a year. The leather care instructions have more tips.
