Marc Marquez 2019 Suit Safety Features
- This Repsol racing suit uses red, Repsol blue and white panels inspired by the 2019 Repsol Honda team colors.
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather. It is drum-dyed and milled, so it feels soft.
- Removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. It meets EN 1621-1:2012.
- A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible.
- TPU-reinforced metal protectors cover the shoulders and knees on the outside.
- TPU sliders sit on the elbows. The TPU knee sliders can be replaced.
- Double and triple nylon stitching holds the seams that take the most strain.
Suit Construction
- Pre-curved sleeves fit the bent-arm position you hold on a sport bike.
- Accordion leather panels on the lower back and knees help you move.
- Cordura stretch panels sit at the sleeves, crotch and calves.
- YKK semi auto-lock coil zippers close the front, cuffs and calves. The 2-piece pants close with silver snap buttons.
- Soft neoprene cuffs and collar feel gentle on the skin.
- A breathable mesh lining lets air move inside the suit.
- One mesh pocket sits inside, on the left side of the chest.
