A standard size follows fixed chest, sleeve and torso numbers from the size chart. A custom size is cut to your own body, so the sleeves and torso follow your frame. Both use the same leather and the same hand-stitched seams. Send your numbers with the measurement form for a custom size. If you sit between two sizes, or ride in a tucked position, a custom size is the simple choice.
Measure across your chest at the fullest point. Then measure your sleeve from the center back of your neck to your wrist. Add your torso length from shoulder to hip. Wear a light layer while you measure, so the jacket fits over it. Add a note if you want a snug fit for riding or a looser fit for layers. The how to measure guide shows where to place the tape.
Cowhide is thicker and firmer. Most cowhide jackets here are 0.9 to 1.0 mm thick, with one at 1.1 to 1.3 mm. It holds its shape and stands up to daily rides. Sheepskin is softer and lighter, at 0.8 to 0.9 mm, so it feels easy from the first wear. Each style uses one of the two hides, and every jacket is hand-stitched to order.
Wipe road dirt and salt off with a damp cloth after a wet ride. Let the jacket dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Use a leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months to keep the grain soft. Store the jacket on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place. The leather care instructions explain each step in more detail.
Every jacket offers three lining choices. Pick a regular lining, a sublimated lining with a printed design, or no lining at all. With the sublimated lining, you can upload your own design at order. You can also add order instructions to explain what you want. No lining keeps the jacket light for warm rides, while a lining adds a smooth layer inside. Each jacket is stitched by hand to order.
