These Jonathan Rea 2020 motorcycle race gloves are inspired by his Kawasaki gloves in World Superbike. They come in black, green and red, and each pair is hand-stitched to order.

These hard parts slide on the road instead of your skin. An aramid lining sits under the leather. An extra leather layer sits between the thumb and index finger, where wear is high.
Aramid is the fiber often sold as Kevlar. It is strong and resists cuts and heat from friction. In these gloves, it sits between your hand and the cowhide shell. If the leather wears through in a long slide, the lining adds one more layer. It is also light, so the gloves still feel thin enough to work the throttle, brake and clutch.

Wipe the gloves with a soft, dry cloth after each ride. Let them dry at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun. Remove salt and sweat marks with a slightly damp cloth.
