The armor is removable CE Level 2, rated to EN 1621-1:2012, at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. The spine protector is removable and EN 1621-2 compatible. Carbon-reinforced metal protectors sit on the shoulders and knees. The standards apply to the armor, not to the whole suit.
The standard leather is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide with a drum-dyed, milled finish. Drum dyeing colors the hide through, and milling softens the grain. You can also pick Monaco or kangaroo leather when you order. A breathable mesh lining sits inside the suit. Pre-curved sleeves help you hold the riding position without bunching.
Yes. For the speed hump, pick none, standard, ventilated or hydro. For perforation, pick none, chest, front or full. Perforation lets more air in on warm days. You can also add a thermal lining for cool weather, a removable lining, or an extra knee slider. Choose these in the options before you add the suit to your cart.
