Outer Layer
- The Freddie Spencer 1989 MotoGP suit uses red and white panels in the style of his Yamaha race colors from that year.
- The shell is 1.2-1.3 mm cowhide leather. It is drum-dyed and milled, so it feels soft.
- The knee sliders are made of TPU. They attach with Velcro, so you can swap them when they wear down.
- Pre-curved sleeves fit the bent-arm position you hold on a sport bike.
- Accordion stretch panels on the lower back and knees help you move. Stretch Cordura sits at the sleeves, crotch and calves.
- YKK semi auto-lock zippers close the front, cuffs and calves. Velcro straps add a second hold at the neck, cuffs and calves.
- Soft neoprene trims the cuffs and collar. Dual and triple safety stitching runs along the key seams.

Inside, removable CE Level 2 armor sits at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. That armor meets EN 1621-1:2012, a test standard for impact pads on the limbs. A removable back protector is EN 1621-2 compatible. On the outside, TPU knee sliders attach with Velcro. You can replace them when they wear down. You can also take the pads out to clean the mesh lining or to wear the suit off the bike.
