Wipe the chaps with a dry cloth after each ride to remove dust. For a deeper clean, use a leather cleaner made for cowhide. Then add a leather conditioner to keep the hide soft. Do not soak them or put them in a washing machine. Let wet chaps dry at room temperature, away from heaters. Store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sun.
